Abandoned Village E-RV

An abandoned village perched on a high hill. A little over two dozen stone houses with tiled roofs remain standing. There are two wells; the power line has been cut. Former locals sometimes return to work in the gardens, vineyards, and olive groves. According to them, the village has existed for around 300 years.

It was abandoned because the road leading to it is very poor, and the hospital and school are too far to reach. The houses have been emptied, some are in ruins, all surrounded by atmospheric dense overgrowth; the abandoned gardens still hold fruit trees. The site is accessible on foot or by a high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicle.
