Terms of Service

By accessing or using Urbex Albania (urbex-albania.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Urbex Albania is a digital content platform dedicated to urban exploration in Albania. We provide:

• A catalog of abandoned locations with GPS coordinates and photographs
• Articles and guides related to urban exploration
• Hiking route files (GPX) with detailed waypoints
• Package deals for bulk content access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase content. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Urbex Albania uses a points-based system:

• Points are a virtual currency used exclusively on this platform
• Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency
• Points are non-transferable between accounts
• We reserve the right to modify the points-to-EUR exchange rate with reasonable notice

We accept payments through the following providers:

• Gumroad — credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
• NOWPayments — cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, ETH)

All prices are displayed in EUR. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers, and you agree to their respective terms of service when using them.

Purchasing content grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the unlocked content indefinitely. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or share unlocked content (coordinates, GPX files, exclusive articles)
• Use the content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the platform

Urban exploration involves inherent risks. The locations listed on this platform are abandoned structures that may be structurally unsound, contain hazardous materials, or present other dangers.

• You visit any location entirely at your own risk
• We do not guarantee the safety or accessibility of any listed location
• Conditions may change without notice — structures deteriorate, access routes may become blocked
• Always respect local laws, private property, and your own physical limitations

Urbex Albania does not encourage trespassing or any illegal activity.

All content on this platform — including text, photographs, maps, GPS data, GPX files, and design elements — is the property of Urbex Albania or its content creators and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urbex Albania shall not be liable for:

• Any injury, damage, or loss resulting from visiting locations listed on the platform
• Inaccuracies in GPS coordinates, descriptions, or route data
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions of third-party payment processors

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Remaining points on a terminated account are forfeited.

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or on-site notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia.

If your point balance becomes negative (e.g., after a refund or chargeback), access to all previously unlocked premium content — including coordinates and GPX files — will be suspended. Guest-tier (free) content remains accessible. Your purchases are not deleted: once you top up your balance to zero or above, full access is restored instantly. This measure is in place to prevent abuse of the refund system.

If you pay less than the order total — by lowering the pay-what-you-want amount on card checkout (Gumroad), or by underpaying the crypto invoice (NOWPayments) — the content is not unlocked automatically. The amount actually paid is credited to your account as points (store credit) at the rate of 1 point = €0.50, rounded down to the nearest whole point; any fraction below one point is retained. For crypto, the paid amount is estimated in EUR from the invoice. Points can be used to unlock the same or other content; no automatic monetary refund is issued.
