Air Defense Position L-WM with a Large Bunker

A former air defense position set on the top of a hill. The ruined surface structures survive: concrete pads for anti-aircraft guns or machine guns, and an extensive network of underground tunnels leading out to firing points. At the summit there were four gun emplacements, two machine-gun positions, and recesses for sheltering antennas.

Ten metres below the summit sits the bunker itself. Its layout is highly irregular: straight tunnels divided into blocks, a gallery with five firing points or observation positions, staircases, and sloped passageways all merge into a single interconnected structure. There are three entrances and exits. All the structures have been heavily damaged by scrap metal collectors. The brick partition walls inside the bunker have been demolished.
