Air Defense Position S-IZ with a Bunker, a Circle-Tunnel and Pillboxes

Description
An unusual fortification system with multiple observation and firing points. It consists of a command bunker encircled by a ring of covered galleries, from which staircases descend into pillboxes covering different fields of fire over the city and the surrounding area. In one section the gallery has collapsed, so a complete circuit requires approaching the ring from both sides. A badger has made its home in the earth-filled section.
The bunker once had blast doors and a ventilation system, but today only the brick partition walls remain. The tunnels suffered a fire at some point — the ceilings are blackened with soot. On a neighbouring hill stood an artillery position with several gun emplacements, vehicle garages, and a brick building. The site is unguarded.
