Air Defense Position V-RU with Bunkers

The remains of an air defense position on a hill above the city. Little has survived: only the gun platforms — built for machine guns or anti-aircraft cannon — remain, partly occupied by mobile network masts. Alongside them stand small underground chambers, a pair of unfinished tunnels, and the ruins of barracks nearby.

Adjacent to the site is an archaeological object — the foundation and wall remnants of an ancient monastery, with intact cellars and a crypt kept under lock. Local guides occasionally lead tours there, but without access to the cellars the monastery walls are open to visit at any time: picturesque stonework, small arches, and steps that are several centuries old.
