Artillery Bunkers F-JZ with Tunnels
Description
Artillery bunkers for a battery of 122 mm guns, situated on a hill. Four monolithic concrete bunkers, vehicle shelters, a rangefinder, and several firing points — all connected by tunnels, with a staircase of wildly varied step sizes leading up to the rangefinder. An anti-aircraft machine-gun position once occupied the top of the hill. The gun emplacements in front of the bunkers have a low earthen berm for protection against the enemy. The bunkers are in decent condition with tunnels intact, making for a satisfying explore. Numerous inscriptions, slogans, memos, and drawings depicting weapons, vehicles, and even a battle scene have survived on the walls of the artillery bunkers and near the rangefinder.
In the opinion of the Urbex Albania team, this site is one of the most interesting in the artillery bunkers category.
