Artillery Bunkers L-EA with Tunnels
Description
Four artillery shelters and a bunker situated on a mountain slope. The artillery shelters face the sea and cover the town. On the same level stands a concrete structure housing a new-type rangefinder; slightly lower down is an older rangefinder of similar design. All shelters are connected by a tunnel with small rooms for personnel and storage. The walls are decorated with posters bearing regulations, instructions, and illustrations of military equipment. On the same level as the artillery shelters sits a bunker for military command.
Everything containing metal has been stolen by locals. In some places the concrete has even been broken apart. The site is almost entirely unguarded — only one of the bunkers is now used to keep sheep, watched over by dogs.
