Bunker T-TK with Two Pillboxes and Stairs

A large structure consisting of a bunker that burrows into one of the hill’s peaks, a pillbox complex on the hilltop, and an underground gallery with a staircase connecting the two. It sits on the outskirts of Tirana. The bunker is U-shaped and has fairly spacious halls.

Their condition is below average: the concrete waterproofing slabs were torn apart for their rebar, though the partition walls remain. The staircase leading up to the pillboxes is cut into the hillside like a trench but has a concrete roof. It winds unpredictably, with steps of random height and shape. The pillboxes are arranged in a pair and face west and north over Tirana.

Bats inhabit the bunker — with some luck you may encounter several dozen, or even hundreds of them. Entry is possible from the main road running along the hill, or through a breach in the staircase ceiling near the very top. Unguarded.
