Bunker V-QB with Blast Doors

This bunker is believed to have served as the headquarters of a military unit where soldiers are trained — and still are, to this day. It sits outside the unit’s perimeter, right in the middle of local residents’ vegetable gardens.

The bunker has two entrances that tunnel into the hillside; inside, they meet and join a single corridor from which you can access two long wings, each subdivided into small working rooms. At the far ends of the wings are large meeting-hall rooms. The interior has preserved its hermetic blast doors, some metal fittings, and part of the air filtration system. The furniture is either broken or has warped and split with age. One of the rooms has a well — a local resident has run electricity and a hose down to it to pump water to his house.

Watch out: one of the entrances is home to fleas living in the hay! A friendly dog hangs around near the bunker — one that smells like a corpse. The site is unguarded, but locals you run into may ask what exactly you are doing there. Stumbling into this area by accident is essentially impossible.
