Coastal Artillery Bunkers D-LB with Tunnels

A spacious tunnel system with gun emplacements built for coastal artillery. All tunnels are interconnected, and an underground staircase leads up to a rangefinder post. The entrances may be heavily littered and partially flooded; inside you may encounter teenagers and homeless people.

A large structure set into the cliff along the coastline. Six concrete artillery shelters at the base of the rock, designed to defend the city’s shoreline. The shelters are linked to one another by wide tunnels, some of them unfinished and without concrete lining. From one of the tunnels a staircase climbs to a rangefinder positioned approximately twenty metres higher up. Unguarded. Most of the entrances are blocked by household rubbish.
