Coastal Artillery Bunkers V-AC

A coastal artillery position on the peninsula, consisting of four monolithic concrete bunkers connected to one another, originally designed to shelter heavy-calibre artillery. Today, instead of guns, the bunkers provide refuge for cattle. Several metres above stands a rangefinder, unconnected to the artillery bunkers, with a multi-room bunker adjoining it. Slogans, instruction charts and tables to assist the gunners are still visible on the walls, along with drawings of enemy equipment. Near the artillery position are small firing points in mushroom bunkers linked by trenches, and several brick barracks.
