Fertiliser Plant

An enormous abandoned industrial complex in a state of post-apocalyptic ruin. A deeply impressive place, even if thoroughly gutted. The complex was built in the early 1960s, abandoned in the 1990s, and completely stripped of anything of value by the early 2000s. The plant manufactured fertilisers.

As of 2023, entry to the site — on foot or by vehicle — is entirely unrestricted. Goats graze freely across the grounds, and fruit trees have taken root: figs, apples, and persimmons grow alongside thickets of wild blackberries.
