HQ-2 Missiles Site F-A

A former launch site for HQ-2 missiles, the Chinese equivalent of the Soviet S-75 system. Six concrete launch tables remain on site, accompanied by several shelters built for tractors, radar units, and other equipment. The launch positions and equipment hangars are connected by a network of tunnels. In a nearby fold between the hills lie tunnel garage-shelters that once housed an even greater quantity of military hardware.

The site has suffered heavily at the hands of scrap metal collectors and from ground collapses. Unguarded.
