Museum of Armed Forces

The Military Museum was relocated in 2023 from central Tirana to the outskirts of the city. The exhibition covers weapons, military equipment, and gear from various periods of Albanian history. On the outdoor grounds stand tanks, armoured personnel carriers, trucks, artillery pieces, aircraft, helicopters, and patrol boats. Inside the museum building, Albanian military history is traced from the era of Skanderbeg all the way to the modern army of democratic Albania.

In the opinion of the Urbex Albania team, this is one of the best museums in Albania. Admission is free; the soldier at the entrance may ask to see your ID.
