Spherical Artillery Bunker D-UQ on the Beach

A spherical artillery bunker set into the fence of what was once a house or restaurant, now abandoned on the beach in Durrës. It differs slightly from the standard hemispherical bunkers by its narrow gun embrasure — most likely a local adaptation to reduce the amount of seawater entering the interior. On the way to the site you will pass several bunkers that have been partially destroyed by the sea. A scenic location for watching the sunset.
