Spherical Coastal Artillery Bunkers L-J on a Platform

Four spherical bunkers on a concrete platform, situated on open flatland. Nearby stands a rangefinder on a small tower. Adjoining the concrete base is a concrete arched shelter for ammunition storage. The bunkers were designed to accommodate artillery pieces in the absence of natural terrain where shelters could be dug. The bunkers are in excellent condition by local standards. All protective hatches and doors have survived. One of the most popular tourist sites in the “Albanian bunker” category. Unguarded.
