Storage Tunnels B-HM with Blast Doors

Description

Fifteen tunnel-type ammunition storage facilities, each built to withstand a blast. Some of the tunnels form clusters of two or three, linked by connecting passages; others stand in complete isolation. The site once housed a military-unit headquarters — livestock now live there instead.

The complex is in middling condition overall. Some tunnels are in good shape, retaining their ventilation pipes and intact plastic waterproofing membrane; in others, the concrete slabs have been partially broken apart by scavengers pulling out the thin rebar inside. Twelve of the southern storage tunnels have external blast doors. Stacks of concrete blocks used for propping up ammunition crates can still be found in places. The hermetic inner doors, non-ferrous metal fittings, and electric motors have all been stripped and taken.

The site has no direct guard presence, but you may be spotted by local residents who wander in to walk their goats or cattle. Inside the northern storage tunnels, some unexploded ordnance has been left behind and never removed: grenades, artillery shells, and mines. Not a large quantity — but it is there. Exercise appropriate caution.
