Storage Tunnels T-VS with High Vaults

Tunnel ammunition depots. This site is remarkable for combining ammunition and vehicle storage of an unusual layout with a small bunker.

Five parallel storage tunnels, each over 150 metres long with high 10-metre vaults, are connected at the far end by a pedestrian passage with varying ceiling heights and two cross-passages every 50 metres. From tunnel No. 1 (the northernmost), a narrow human-sized tunnel branches off to the north-west and ends at a bunker with an exit to the surface. Between tunnels No. 3 and No. 4 there is a small bunker whose surface exit is a guardhouse building.

Outside, an abandoned lorry stands on the site. All metal has been stripped — even the rebar was ripped from the walls. Unguarded.
