Bunk'Art 2

A bunker beneath one of the government buildings in central Tirana, converted into a Cold War museum. Not as compelling as Bunk’Art 1, but still worth a visit for bunker enthusiasts. The exhibition resembles a trimmed-down version of its predecessor, yet feels more one-sided — and therefore more tedious. Heavy emphasis is placed on how terrible life was under communism, as though one half of the population was sent to the GULAG and the other half was shot. If you have to choose between Bunk’Art 1 and Bunk’Art 2, the choice is Bunk’Art 1, without question.
