Underground Garages F-RA

A military facility on the outskirts of Fier where tunnel-garages were used to store anti-aircraft artillery and equipment for the combat units stationed in the surrounding area. The site contains several ruined buildings and nine storage tunnels driven into the hillside. Between them sits an underground command bunker. A couple of the tunnels have retained their iron gates and plastic waterproofing lining the ceiling and walls, on which reminders and slogans have been written. The compound’s entrance gates are secured with a padlock. The building by the entrance is now used by a local farmer as a storage shed.
