Thermal Spa Sanatorium

A sanatorium with a hydrotherapy facility, built more than a century ago on thermal springs. Besides the old four-storey main building, the grounds hold a single-storey residential barrack from the same period, a more modern two-storey block with unfinished renovations, a restaurant, a balneotherapy wing with cabins for medicinal baths and a doctor’s office, and various outbuildings. The buildings are set in a park with trees, benches and a fountain.

The main building holds several dozen rooms (single, double, and family rooms for 3–4 people), a doctor’s office and administrative offices. The rooms are in varying states: in some you could sleep right now, in others the ceiling has caved in. On the ground floor the hotel connects to the spa annexe — small rooms with tubs filled with hot water carrying dissolved hydrogen sulphide.

The hotel has stood abandoned since 2020. The overall condition is at once pristine and decaying, and the place has not been looted. Someone probably keeps an occasional eye on the grounds.
